Conor Bradley Shines on his Premier League debut as Liverpool break stalemate curse

20 Years old Conor Bradley was the star of the night becoming the youngest Liverpool player 20 years and 206 days to  score and assist in the same game since Raheem Sterling (19y 252d) in August 2014 vs Southampton on what was his Premier League debut as Liverpool continued their surge for the Premier League title with a convincing 4:1 victory over long term rivals Chelsea.

Coming into the fixture with all three of their previous encounters ending in draw, fans across the globe were expecting another stalemate. However, with goals from Diogo Jota, Conor Bradley, Dominik Szoboszlai and Luis Díaz, Liverpool were assured a victory at Anfield. Christopher Nkunku however, returned from injury and got the consolation goal for the blues. Darwin Núñez got an opportunity to inflict more pain on the blues but his effort from the spot hit the post.

This was Jürgen Klopp's 200th win in the Premier League in charge of the reds in what was just his 318th Premier League game and became the Red boss requiring the least number of matches to reach such a milestone and behind just Pep Guardiola who got his 200th win in his 269th Premier League game in the all time Premier League Managers to reach such a milestone.

In other results, Manchester City made it four consecutive wins in the Premier League with a 3:1 victory against Burnley with two goals from Birthday boy Julian Alvarez, a goal from Rodri and a consolation goal for Burnley from Ameen Al-Dakhil. Tottenham Hotspur came from behind to win 3:2 against Brentford. Ivan Toney continued his fine form after returning from an eight-month suspension with a goal making it two goals in two games since making his return against Nottingham Forest on 20th January.

In La Liga, FC Barcelona returned to winning ways with a 63rd minute winner from January signing Vitor Roque over Osasuna and Atlético Madrid also got a 2:1 victory over Rayo Valecano thanks to a 90th minute winner from Memphis Depay.
